Tampa Bay's Retired Teachers Club welcomes all retired educators from New York

This site is no longer active. It does not represent any real organization.
I still keep this site online for website creators who are looking for an example of a website for a retired teachers' organization.

If you are Interested in an active  website for  New York State retired teachers in Florida, please go to Teacher Retirees in Florida.    6/26/2015 Richard Gordon

  • New York Teacher newspaper has an article on page 8 of the January 31, 2008 issue about our project helping the Sheriff's Ranch in Safety Harbor. You can also view this article online.
  • New message from our co-presidents updated March 16, 2008.

Our goals (mission statement)

  • to develop new friendships established within our Club and seek new acquaintances (new server)

  • to keep members informed of changes involving health and retirement benefits

  • to spotlight political choices ONLY if they may impact our members

  • to feature programs and speakers having significant impact on our group

  • to select and support youth based projects benefiting Tampa Bay youngsters

Interested in joining us?

From September to April, we meet one Thursday a month. Usually our meetings are at a local restaurant where we not only have lunch while we share in friendship; we also have a guest speaker.
