Willing to volunteer for the phone-tree?

We use our phone-tree to contact personally our members about our coming events.

Many don't yet have Internet access

Many folks in our organization do not yet have access to our Web site. As time passes, the number of us with Internet access will no doubt increase -- so eventually, most of our members will be able to find out the latest information on our plans through e-mail or just by checking this Web site. But for now, we're fortunate to have several of our members volunteer to be part of Chuck and Dot's phone-tree.

The more volunteers, the easier the job man racing with volunteer flag

With Chuck and Dot serving as the coordinator, the phone-tree volunteers make personal phone calls to our members, inviting and reminding them of our meetings coming up. The more volunteers Chuck and Dot have working with them, the lighter the burden and the fewer phone calls for each volunteer. So please, if you can, lend a helping hand by volunteering to be a member of the phone-tree. To volunteer, call or e-mail Chuck and Dot at rtc@gordonrichard.com. In your message, please include --

  • in you subject line -- "RTC phone tree volunteer"
  • your name
  • home phone number
  • your e-mail address.

Chuck and Dot or another board member will confirm your placement on the "phone tree" shortly after receiving your information.

Perhaps phone calls will continue

Even when we're all wired to the Internet, perhaps we'll still use the phone-tree. There's nothing like the warm, caring human voice to show how much we value each member's attendance at our events.
